Temporary Staff Recruiter (Through July 2026)Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Staff Recruiter to join our team on a temporary basis through July 2026. This role provides an opportunity to make an immediate impact by supporting full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments. We are looking to hire as soon as possible.
This position supports a remote or hybrid work schedule, with the expectation that the recruiter will be onsite at our Yakima Administration Building in Yakima, Washington when business needs require.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts and partner closely with hiring leaders to develop sourcing strategies, attract qualified candidates, and support organizational growth. You will represent YVFWC at community events and job fairs, help advance our diversity hiring goals, and contribute to employer branding efforts.
Experienced recruitment professionals will receive priority consideration, consistent with business needs and applicable employment laws.
Position Highlights:
- $31.20-$40.02/hour DOE with ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates.
- Develop sourcing strategies for assigned business units, including high-volume or hard-to-fill roles.
- Attend job fairs, conferences, and community events to promote YVFWC and build candidate pipelines.
- Maintain accurate applicant data and workflows in the ATS.
- Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screening processes.
- Develop job offers using internal equity analysis.
- Support organizational diversity hiring initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, colleges, and professional organizations.
- Contribute to employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of two years of recruiting or HR generalist experience, including screening, interviewing, and working with hiring managers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in competitive or high-volume environments, ideally in healthcare.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of recruitment principles and selection processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships and build credibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
Working Conditions
- Remote or hybrid work supported.
- Onsite work at the Yakima, WA administration building required for meetings, events, or operational needs.
- Primarily sedentary with occasional standing or walking.
- Requires hearing, speaking, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and travel, including occasional overnight stays.
